3,000 graduates should be admitted to Kenya School of Law, according to Babu Owino’s appeal to President Ruto.Mar 14 – Over 3000 students holding law degrees have appealed to the president William Ruto to intervene and have them admitted to kenya School of law.

Students who pursued their studies from 2015 to 2022 have not been admitted to KSL on the grounds that they did not score a minimum of B(Plain) in English and Kiswahili.

The aggreaved students through Embakasi East member of parliament Babu Owino want the head of state come to the aid of students.
He told journalists at Milimani Law Courts that refusal by the KSL contradicts the Legal Education Act.
He said that most students despite of scoring first and second class honours,they come from humble backgrounds and education is the only independent livelihood.
He said that he has taken upon himself to pursue the matter that his now pending at the Supreme Court.
