📌 About the customer A full digital bank concentrated on the African request. It presently has operations in both Kenya and Nigeria with plans to expand into other African requests near- term. The Business is headquartered in San Francisco with the Team spread across a number of countries, including Croatia, Kenya, Ireland, Mexico, Nigeria and the US.
📌 The ideal seeker The part will report to the Board of the Bank( in Kenya) and also to the Leadership Team. This will include managing staff, icing compliance with regulations, setting and achieving deals and performance pretensions, and working with other elderly directors to develop and apply strategies for growth and profitability. The general director will also be responsible for maintaining connections with guests, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
📌 What the job involves
– P&L power and delivery of all fiscal and business targets for the bank
– client accession driven through the signing up of business guests and their workers
– Developing and managing the relationship with the Regulator( the CBK) and icing that the Bank is at all times biddable with all applicable regulations and banking rates
– erecting a significant arrears base through primarily, HNI fixed deposits, SME business accounts, retail savings and current accounts,
– Work with the Group Leadership Team in raising debt finance to support the growth of the Bank
– insure that the Bank’s guests always admit superior client experience
– Responsibility, in confluence with the Group Leadership Team, for designing and delivering innovative products that meet the requirements of the Bank’s guests
– Responsibility, in confluence with the Group Leadership Team, for determining pricing of products and services for the Bank
– Developing and managing colorful cooperation connections
– As a digital bank, insure optimal functional effectiveness
– The General Manager will be a member of the Board
– The part- holder must be approved by the CBK
-Responsible for quality Board Reporting
📌 Qualifications
– A minimum of five times banking experience in a elderly operation part
– Fintech/ digital banking operation experience
– A thorough understanding of banking regulations in Kenya
– A detailed understanding of request requirements, products and pricing
– In depth knowledge of payment systems
– Well admired in the request with the capability to win and foster important stakeholder connections
– A collegiate working style, while working with a platoon located across the world in numerous different time zones.
