List of KCSE Candidates Eligible for Degree Courses: KUCCPS Detailed Updates

List of KCSE Candidates Eligible for Degree Courses: KUCCPS Detailed Updates. Only KCSE students who will have completed their exams in 2022 will be eligible to apply for degree programs when the portal opens, according to a statement made on Wednesday, March 22 by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

The platform will be open to all Kenyans once applications are accepted, the placement board insisted in response to queries from applicants.

However, only technical and vocational education and training programs will be accessible to applicants who took the KCSE prior to 2022. (TVET).
According to KUCCPS, candidates have to submit their applications during the course’s application period for their KCSE lot.

Once the portal is open to applicants, “Will students of other years (2021) be eligible to apply?” Posing is Eddy Alara.

“Only candidates who took their KCSE in the year before the selection are qualified to apply for an online degree. When we opened the application portal last year, you were supposed to apply for a degree program, KUCCPS said.

On the other side, KUCCPS claimed that the site for the application procedure had not yet been made available.

The body stated that the website would be updated in the upcoming days with the formal application deadlines for degree and diploma programs.

“In due course, announcements regarding the application/revision window will be issued via the major media, the KUCCPS website, and official social media accounts. Please keep an eye out, said KUCCPS.

Weeks after Education CS Ezekiel Machogu revealed the KCSE 2022 students’ results, they have still not applied for their desired degree and diploma programs.

On January 20, the KCSE results were revealed, and Machogu gave the KUCCPS the go-ahead to start making arrangements for the placement process.

Agnes Wahome, Chief Executive Officer of KUCCPS, stated that given the information provided by Universities, the procedure takes quite a while.

“Before we open there is a process that we must go through including getting all the results from the KNEC, then we have to receive all the programmes offered in universities, and later verify whether they are accredited,” she stated.
