Mother Demands Justice After Kipsigis Girls Teacher Defiles Her Daughter. The victim’s mother is now requesting justice after her daughter, a 17-year-old form four student at Kipsigis Girls in Kericho County, was allegedly sexually raped by a teacher on Easter Sunday.
The girl claimed that when she went to his office to borrow his phone so she could call her parents, he instead locked her inside before carrying out the heinous deed.
Despite the Chaplain reporting the incident, the mother who rushed the school’s grounds shouting and enraged claimed that the institution had neglected the issue.

“The problem was raised by my daughter with the Chaplain, who then raised it with the Deputy Principal, but nothing was done.
After I heard the news after schools were out, we went straight to the hospital before giving a statement at the police station, she said.
The teacher cleverly kept her in the office because it is against school regulation for teachers to use cellphones while in the classroom.
The most depressing element is the institution’s disregard for the problem even after being informed about it.
The student went home to report the issue after two weeks had elapsed, but she had not been transported to the hospital or the police station to provide a statement.
She continued, “This is worrying because we trust teachers to look out for our children in schools, and as a parent, I’m worried about their welfare.
I am concerned about all the girls who are psychologically harmed because they lack the confidence to come out.
The suspect is being held at Kericho Police Station pending arraignment as the police complete their investigation.
As of the publication of this news, the school has not yet made a remark on the matter.
