Threads App; All you need to Know about threads. Read now. Threads, a social media program owned by Meta (previously Facebook, Inc.), had attracted at least 10 million users globally just seven hours after its official introduction.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, announced the debut of Threads, a new text-based program that appears to compete with Twitter.
Meta is a firm that owns Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, Workplace, and WhatsApp, among other programs.
Threads went live in the Apple and Android app stores in 100 countries on Wednesday, July 5 at 2300 GMT.

Threads is a text-based platform that is similar to Twitter.
The software is available on both the Android Play Store and the iOS software Store.
When you first launch the app, you are requested to sign in with your Instagram account. Your Instagram credentials, such as login and password, are used by the app. One might choose to keep their Instagram bio or any links related with their bio.

You can also choose whether your account is public or private. A public account implies that everyone on the threads app can see your threads or replies, whereas a private account means that others cannot see your threads or replies.
You are also encouraged to follow the same accounts that you do on Instagram. One may choose to do so or decline.
After you log in, you will be prompted by an explainer about the app. Threads is an Instagram platform feature. Owners will use thread and Instagram data to personalize adverts and other platform experiences.
They’ve hinted at the prospect of a Fedeverse, which is where future thread versions will work.
It is a new type of social media network that allows users to follow and communicate with one another across several places.
The Threads interface appears next, which feels relatively familiar; it’s not a bizarre software. They are not inventing anything new.
Threads received the following feedback from new users:
Journalist Kennedy Kaunda suggested that they include features such as the ability to save posts and videos on the platform.
“After Twitter started limiting the number of tweets one can access in a day, they have the potential to be the most dominant text-based platform,” Grace Gikonyo remarked.
