Elvis Murakana, Son of MP Beatrice Elachi, Passes Away After Tragic Accident

Elvis Murakana, the son of Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi, has sadly passed away.

Murakana succumbed to injuries sustained in a severe road accident and breathed his last on Tuesday, March 25. He had been receiving medical care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) before his unfortunate demise.

Leaders Mourn the Loss

President William Ruto led national leaders in expressing condolences to MP Beatrice Elachi and her family.

“May God grant Mheshimiwa Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalm 147:3: ‘He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds,’” President Ruto stated.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), the party that sponsored Elachi to Parliament, also shared a heartfelt message of sympathy.

“May God grant Hon. Beatrice Elachi (MP, Dagoretti North) and her family the fortitude and strength to overcome the pain of losing her son, Elvis Murakana Namenya. It is such a huge loss to Mheshimiwa. As a party, we stand with her during this difficult moment of mourning and grief,” ODM stated.

Outpouring of Condolences

Leaders from various regions extended their sympathies. Busia County Woman Representative Catherine Omanyo shared a touching message:

“My heart goes out to Hon. Beatrice Elachi and her family following the tragic loss of their son. On behalf of my family and the people of Busia County, I extend my deepest condolences. Pole sana.”

Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai also expressed his sorrow:

“It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your son, Elvis Murakana.”

“As the MCA for Kileleshwa Ward, I join the people of Dagoretti North and beyond in mourning this profound loss. Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time,” he added.
